Belden jumps into field of "green" halogen-free cabling (following General Cable last year)

Belden recently announced it has introduced low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jackets on some of its popular cables, particularly including multi-conductor cables used for industrial applications. The cables are part of Belden’s GreenChoice options.

I believe we as an industry are still waiting on a halogen-free, plenum-rated category cable. This mythical creature is in the ranks of wet-rated Cat 6A as well – AWOL.
